Happy New Year!

Now that we’re into the January it’s time to start our KAL again! Remember that all you need to do is post a picture of your finished square (or link to a picture) to the Ravelry thread or as a comment here on the blog. You must be a member of the Ravelry group if you post to the Ravelry thread. I will draw a winner at the end of the month for a small prize!

You may complete one of the following squares or one from September,  October, or November.

Here are the links!

Scroll down to the Slip Stitch Speckles pattern and click to download. The block is half size, so be sure to double the number of stitches.

Can’t wait to see your squares!

Thanks for your patience! Christmas was crazy busy and there was a bunch of sickness in my house, so the editing and uploading took longer than usual. I hope you enjoy our new year debut!

In today’s DIY Julia shows how to use a top-whorl drop spindle to spin a one-ply yarn. She discusses how to make a two-ply and what the differences between plies look like. You’ll enjoy the close up spinning tutorial. Julia and Sue also talk about their projects for Christmas.
